The VVVVV is an abstract interpretation of a creek. The brim cascades like a torrent down a hill, and its angular creases evoke the wavy surface of the water. The drapes on the fabric of the crown represent ripples on the water.
The glossy material and its striking color palette are reminiscent of shimmering waters. The prevailing green is a representation of the abundant plant life, while the blues and the browns are the different shades of water and silt.
